Jamshedpur: Pursudih police on Saturday took a history-sheeter into custody for questioning regarding the murder of an alleged illegal liquor trader on Friday. Vijay Kumar Shaw alias Pappu, 45, was shot dead by unidentified bike-borne criminals when he was entering his house in Namotola. Police said, “We are interrogating Tinku Shaw.”

Ramgarh: Two tribal youths, Ajit Hembram (25) and Sagar Hebram (27), from Hesapoda village in Ramgarh died after a police patrolling vehicle collided with their motorcycle late on Friday night. “FIR has been registered against the patrol vehicle driver,” police said.
