Panchkula: A large crowd of devotees thronged Mata Mansa Devi and Kali Mata temple, Kalka on the third day of the Navratra fair. The Shri Mata Mansa Devi Pooja Sthal Board made elaborate arrangements to manage the crowd. DC Dr Yash Garg, who is chairman of the Shri Mata Mansa Devi Shrine Board, said that devotees donated Rs 24.35 lakh at Mansa Devi, Kali Mata temple in Kalka and Chandi temple.

Of this, Rs 18.70 lakh was donated in Mansa Devi temple while Rs 55.8 lakh was donated in Kali Mata temple. The Chandi temple received an offering of Rs 7,100. The donation at Mansa Devi temple included two pieces of gold and 22 pieces of silver. tnn
