Required suggestions for 1.5T ac, usage approx 6 to 8hrs daily, 5 days a week. So I guess it has to be inverter 5 star. Budget 40k.

TIA

I did have Daikin in. Mind, Can you pls suggest the specific model ?

After a lot of research, I picked up the Panasonic 1.5 ton 5-star one which cost me 32.3k after exchange, and it is great. The 2023 model is exactly the same as the 2024 model and is usually 2k cheaper. In fact, I received an ODU manufactured in August 2024 with the IDU being from last year, as the two are sold separately.

The LG one is a close competitor and has a 5.2 ISEER compared to 5.1 for the Panasonic, but the cooling capacity (in terms of output tonnage) is much better on the Panasonic (so you can run it at a lower setting) and the app is actually great. However, for LG you have to pick the 2024 model as the fin coating has been changed.

The Daikin one is good in terms of efficiency, but is not convertible and lacks a lot of features. Also, my previous one was a Daikin and it was torturous seeing its performance decline with age.

Wouldn't bother with the others as they are worse in performance while costing more.
