Patel A. Shankaregowda (74), Trustee of The NEST in Vijayanagar, former President of PLD Bank in Pandavapura and a resident of Kanaganamaradi village in the taluk, passed away this morning at           the village.

He leaves behind his son Surendra, daughter Suchithra, son-in-law Satish, grand-children and a host of relatives                  and friends. Last rites were held at Kanaganamaradi village this afternoon.
