Judge Sofia Vergara shimmered on the red carpet for “America’s Got Talent” Season 19 finale results on Tuesday night. She hit the Hotel Dena event in Pasadena, Calif. wearing a semi-sheer, embellished set as well as the trending shoes.
Vergara turned on the glamour in a strapless semi-sheer bodice. With the boning on display, the nude colored piece was matched with a pencil skirt. Both were embellished in an allover Gucci monogram done in crystals. From afar, the set reads as a dress instead of separates.
Vergara chose gold accessories sporting a large gold ring, a chunky gold and diamond necklace as well as earrings covered by her long wavy hair.

For footwear, the longtime “Modern Family” performer also went gold. She put on a pair of Schutz heels. The shoe is a platform style, featuring a stacked base. Named the Keefa, the footwear is also a sandal. The upper features three straps criss crossing to compose the open-toe design. There is also a t-strap ankle fastening for security.
The shoe features a thick heel of more than five and a half inches with a rubber patch. The integration of the platform allows for additional heel height without increasing the pitch of the silhouette, which can allow more comfort for the wearer. The Schutz Keefa is currently available for $178 and is made in other colors.
Strappy sandals have been trending on red carpets as of late. The style first made a real impression for celebrities and high fashion designers in the 1990s. While it has stayed as a staple of sorts since then, the silhouette has been seen with increasing regularity over the past month.
Vergara is a major fan of strappy metallic platforms. She has a pair of silver metallic ones from Dolce & Gabbana that feature a large accessory on the vamp. Earlier this month, on another “America’s Got Talent” red carpet, she wore a pair of gold sandals with crystal-embellished platforms. And then, of course, there are the silver pair she can’t seem to take off.
