Karma Energy Ltd.(down 4.83%), GE Power India Ltd.(down 4.45%), Power and Instrumentation(Gujarat)Ltd.(down 2.01%), Energy Development Company Ltd.(down 1.78%), Inox Wind Energy Ltd.(down 1.69%), Kalpataru Projects International Ltd.(down 1.52%), India Power Corporation Ltd.(down 0.93%), Jyoti Structures Ltd.(down 0.88%), NHPC Ltd.(down 0.83%) and Gujarat Industries Power Company Ltd.(down 0.82%) were among the top losers of the day.
The NSE Nifty50 index ended 1.36 points up at 25940.4, while the 30-share BSE Sensex closed down 14.57 points at 84914.04.
Tata Steel Ltd.(up 4.25%), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(up 3.96%), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(up 2.61%), Tech Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.87%), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.36%), HCL Technologies Ltd.(up 1.31%), Wipro Ltd.(up 0.87%), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 0.85%), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 0.81%) and JSW Steel Ltd.(up 0.78%) stood among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
