Hyundai Motor India has launched a new E+ variant of the Venue SUV. This new variant sits above the base-spec E variant and costs Rs. 8.23 lakh (ex-showroom). With this, the Venue is now available broadly in 10 variants, namely, E, E+, S, S Plus, S (O), Executive, S (O) Plus, SX, Knight Edition, SX (O).
The new E+ variant of the Venue gets an electric sunroof over the E version and costs Rs. 29,000 more than the latter. Moreover, it also comes loaded with a digital instrument panel, adjustable front and rear headrest, 60:40 split rear seats, two-step recline function for rear seats, six airbags, day and night adjustable IRVM, three-point seat belt for all passengers, ESC, and hill start assist control.
Mechanically, the Venue E+ is equipped with a 1.2-litre NA petrol engine mated to a five-speed manual gearbox. This motor is tuned to generate 82bhp and 114Nm of peak torque.
