Samsung officially announced the One UI 6.1.1 update for Galaxy smartphones and tablets today, shortly after the update went live for the Galaxy S24 series. The initial rollout of the update is limited to Korea, but Samsung has revealed the date when the update will go live in other regions.
Wider Galaxy S24 One UI 6.1.1 rollout starts next week
In the US and Europe, One UI 6.1.1 will start rolling out to the Galaxy S24 series on September 9. Samsung hasn't provided the exact release date for other regions and simply says that they will get it “in the coming weeks”, though we expect the company to make the update available in most markets outside of Europe and the US by the end of next week.
“The coming weeks” is also when One UI 6.1.1 will start rolling to the Galaxy S23 series, S23 FE, Z Fold5, Z Flip5 and Tab S9 series. It's a vague time frame, but going by how Samsung handled the One UI 6.1 update earlier this year, we reckon One UI 6.1.1 will be available for some of those eligible devices sometime next week.
