Aspen Thrift Shop: September grant awardees, Art Fire Sale

The Aspen Thrift Shop is celebrating our 75th anniversary! Since 1949, energetic and enthusiastic community volunteers have sorted, priced, and displayed donated clothing, housewares, and sporting equipment that turn into hundreds of thousands of dollars in annual contributions to worthy causes in our valley. 

In September 2024, the thrift shop awarded grants to the following organizations: Aspen Cycling Club; Aspen Junior Golf Foundation; Aspen Junior Hockey; Aspen Valley Ski & Snowboard Club; Kids Connect, Inc.; Marble Charter School; Response; Stage of Life (SOL) Theatre Company; The Savings Collaborative; The Sopris Sun; Valley Settlement; and Wilderness Workshop. The thrift shop ladies are delighted to invite the community to our Art Fire Sale on Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Aspen Fire Station. Come celebrate with us! You may find that perfect piece of art you’ve been looking for, and we would love to thank you in person for your seventy-five years of support.
