Jat community is the biggest strength of vote bank in Haryana. Out of 90 seats, Jat community affects the election result on about 40 seats. Jats dominate Rohtak, Hisar, Sonipat, Kaithal, Jind, Fatehabad, Jhajjar, Bhiwani and Sirsa. punjabi and Bania voters decide victory and defeat in some seats in urban areas of these districts. In South Haryana, there are more Gujjar voters along with Ahirs and Yadavs. Dalits in east Haryana and Sikh/Punjabi voters in Ambala, Karnal and Kurukshetra bordering punjab decide the fate of the candidates. Sikh voters also play an important role in one or two seats of Sirsa bordering Punjab.

Which party focuses on which caste

The congress party is trying to win the elections by relying on the Jat community in particular. Along with this, the Congress is also seen to be focusing on wooing Dalit votes. On the other hand, the BJP's main focus is on Other backward classes (OBC) and Bania. The aam aadmi party is focused on making inroads into the votes of both bjp and Congress. The JJP-INLD alliance is focused on both Dalits and Jats. JJP is also dependent on the Jat and Dalit vote bank.

Small parties have their influence in particular communities or regions. This can make inroads into the traditional vote bank of big parties. Small parties can raise local issues. They can focus on farmers' issues, unemployment, education etc. New and young voters can look for different options from traditional politics. Small parties can also attract this class. In such a situation, the performance of small parties can be decisive on many seats.

Although it would be premature to say that small parties will completely become game changers, they can definitely influence the results of the elections. New equations can be formed in the politics of Haryana, which can change the political scenario of the state.
