The Mahindra Thar Roxx, also known as the Thar five-door, is finally here, with prices starting at Rs. 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The homegrown company has revealed the prices of select variants, and bookings too are yet to begin. In case you are one of the many customers interested in this SUV, the following are the dates you need to keep in mind.
Thar Roxx test drives
Mahindra is scheduled to commence test drives of the new Thar Roxx across all its dealerships in the country from 14 September. The model is available in seven dual-tone paint themes, details of which are available on our website.
Mahindra Thar Roxx booking timeline
In case you’re confused about which variant to go for, don’t worry, as Mahindra will give you a fair amount of time before bookings begin. The latter will start on 3 October, and these official bookings can be made on the website or at an authorised Mahindra dealership. Apart from the seven colours, there are also six variants to choose from.
New Thar Roxx deliveries
Shortly after the start of bookings, as mentioned previously, Mahindra will commence deliveries of the five-door Thar Roxx in the festive season. This milestone will begin on Dussehra, which falls on 12 October this year. Notably, there are two engine options – 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and 2.2-litre diesel, and both get two individual states of tune each. Transmission options include six-speed manual and torque converter automatic gearboxes.

This is one of the most commonly asked questions, and, this time around, we have the answer for you. Mahindra is yet to announce the prices of the Thar Roxx 4WD variants, and this will take place on 3 October, which is also when bookings of the car will commence.
