Just before the release of the highly anticipated second season of Amazon's Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, Samsung announced that people can watch the show's first season for free on its TVs via Samsung TV Plus.

Samsung has announced that, until August 28, people in Brazil, Canada, Germany, the UK, and the US can watch the first season of Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power for free on Samsung TVs via Samsung TV Plus.
Over 300 million Samsung TVs will have access to Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power for free. The second season is scheduled to release on August 29, 2024, so if you haven't watched the first season or want a recap, you have plenty of time to change that before the second season comes out.
Here are the channels the show will be available on in various countries:
- Brazil: On-Demand.
- Canada: Channel 1003 (The Rings Of Power).
- Germany: Channel 4001 (Entertainment Mix) & On-Demand.
- The UK: Channel 4001 (Entertainment Hub) & On-Demand.
- The USA: Channel 1003 (The Rings of Power), Channel 1200 (Movie Hub), Channel 1201 (Movie Hub West), Channel 1204 (Movie Hub Action), Channel 1505 (All Action), & On-Demand.
In some countries, the Samsung TV Plus app is also available on Galaxy smartphones and tablets. It is also available on Samsung's Smart Monitors and select monitors in Odyssey and ViewFinity lineups.
