Somber Echoes Is a Compelling, if Familiar, Metroidvania

Though our short time with upcoming metroidvania Somber Echoes didn't lead us to believe it'll be wildly inventive, its foreboding atmosphere, solid combat, and mobility-based exploration has left us feeling eager to see more.
