Airtel IPv6 issues on Asus router bridged mode

Hey All,

My Airtel broadband ONT is connected to Asus router via bridged mode (PPPoE dialing) IP is CGNAT.

I tried enabling IPv6 via Asus router as seen in the below screenshot, from what I notice IPv6 gets activated, (even online IPv6 test shows it working) but the speed and connectivity is very inconsistent and slow, speed test shows just 10 mpbs once IPv6 is enabled and goes back to normal 200mbps once disabled.

what am I doing wrong ?

Always use passthrough option first. Also, as per my experience ISPs typically use different routing for IPv6 & IPv4 which may result in speed difference between the two so if after trying everything the speeds are still poor on IPv6 then it is just poor implementation of IPv6 by ISP.

I used passthrough option but IPv6 does not get activated...

only on Native option IPv6 works, I tried adding Google DNS, it works fine on for devices like phones but on other devices its very inconsistent and low speed

Open command prompt & run tracert command to a foreign ipv6 server like this:

tracert news6.easynews.com

Compare the routes & ping times of above with ipv4 connection using this command below in ipv4 connection mode after disabling ipv6 in router.
