Robot wars: Using autonomous robots to aid flesh-and-blood soldiers was considered taboo just a few years ago. Now, military organizations are testing drones in preparation for active deployment in some of the most dangerous war zones on the planet.

A four-legged drone known as "BAD One" has demonstrated its ability to assist human soldiers in the Russo-Ukrainian war. According to an AFP report, these "robot dogs" could soon become part of Ukraine's effort to thwart Vladimir Putin's invasion and annexation attempts. The drones appear to be designed to replace soldiers on the front lines, undertaking life-threatening missions such as searching for land mines or spying on enemy forces.

BAD One drones can stand up, crouch, run, and even jump. Their low profile allows them to perform "stealthy" tasks with ease, and they can use thermal imaging technology to scan enemy frontlines or inspect suspicious buildings in active combat zones. In a worst-case scenario, they can be sacrificed to save human lives.

According to an operator who identified himself as "Yuri," dangerous surveillance and reconnaissance missions are currently performed mostly by highly trained personnel. These experienced soldiers face deadly risks, as Russian forces have now built and fortified their trenches deep within Ukrainian territory.

BAD One drones could become an invaluable asset to Ukraine's defense by reducing risks for human soldiers and enhancing their operational capabilities. Yuri, who appears to work for a UK-based company that manufactures military equipment, stated that this is the robot dog's "core function." And this is just the beginning – a newer, more advanced model called BAD Two is already being tested, though it could not be demonstrated for security reasons.

BAD One represents a promising technological advancement for Ukraine's defense, especially as the country faces a shortage of human personnel to continue resisting the Russian invasion. The drone's battery lasts approximately two hours, making it ideal for short but critical missions against Russian trenches and mine-ridden terrain.

Additional features of the four-legged drone include the ability to carry up to 15 pounds of supplies, such as ammunition, first aid kits, and more. While Yuri did not disclose the exact number of robot dogs being deployed, he noted that BAD One's operations will have a significant impact on the ongoing war efforts. The drone is also equipped with an emergency switch that can erase all data if it is captured by Russian forces.

It would help them a lot of they could print thousands of cheap robots that would explode mines.
If they were cheap enough, they could clean the mine fields before Russians could create new ones.

So was sodomy, and now look at Europe, is why Ukraine wanted to join so bad.

Their choices are kind of limited. One option to be dissolved in Russia like a dozen of other nationalities that do not even remember their own language, in addition to being meat factories for upcoming Russia's wars.
The second option is sodomy.
No third option.

Actually, they do, and really well, plenty of other languages, without anybody trying to suppress them. With Ukraine, it's the opposite, they resent their own history, whereby Kiev is the origin of Russia, and was its capital for centuries, but Ukrainians not only chose to ignore that, they chose to exterminate Russian-speaking people. So, I'm afraid you got it the other way round.

I recommend you look, for example, at the Zemledeliye remote mining system, and then recall the images of the start of the Ukrainian counteroffensive in 2023

Yeah, the next "game changer"

So you're saying that Russia should become a part of Ukraine because Kyiv is the origin of Russia. Got it

As far as I know, Novgorod is where Russia was born. they freed themselves from the mongols and then Kiev asked for help. and latter both united.

Sometimes you talk with sense, sometimes you talk like a russian bot.
EU is one of safest and best place to live. Russia is tyrant state where half of the population **** outdoors and oligarchs do what Tzar tell them to do. Mostly uneducated, corrupted bunch of drunkards. If EU approval of sexual orientation is such an issue... Please feel free to join the alternative, you will be so happy knowing no gay person will exist around while keeping your naked butt out on nice Siberian snow.

Your racism is duly noted; though your grammar identifies your birthplace as being not terribly far from Kiev itself. The fact remains that the conflict actually began in 2014 when a coup in Ukraine replaced the government with a violently ultranationalist faction that immediately began repressing its ethnic Russian minority population, even going so far as ban them from holding government positions or speaking their own language. Imagine had the US passed a law banning African-Americans from holding office, and barring Hispanics from speaking the Spanish language. That sparked the decade-long civil war in Donbass.

Still, that conflict would have remained localized, were it not for the Biden Administration's attempts to shoehorn Ukraine into NATO. Groups like Cato were predicting a full year before the invasion that this would lead to all-out war. They were right. And Russia's demands -- before the war, as well as during the failed peace talks aftter the war began -- were that Ukraine remain neutral, and not host NATO bases and forces next to the Russian border.

I'll close by noting that, even before the war, Ukraine was the most corrupt nation in Europe -- in the EU's own words, no less: the money-laundering, drug-trafficking, arms-trafficking, and human-trafficking capital of the region.

Looks like the perfect "test environment" for this application. Wonder if they will outfit some of them with automatic weapons?

Oh so protesting against sham elections is now a coup? Or is it a coup only when Russian backed puppet gets taken down?
2014 Maidan Revolution happened because Russian puppet tried to steal the elections. Then ordered shooting of unarmed civilian protestors.
Funny how "repressed ethnic Russian minority" always gets brought up in eastern-europe. I hear the same bs in my country all the time.
If Putin really cared about the people then he would have offered free Russian citizenship to those willing to emigrate back to Russia. Instead this Russian population that exists in one form or another in most eastern-european countries always complains how they are repressed. Meanwhile they refuse to learn the language of the country they live in and commit crimes. I dont see Hungarian ethnic minority, or any other minority complaining in Ukraine. At least not the ones in Ukrainian controlled areas. Meanwhile Russia started immediately prosecuting Tatar minority in Crimea after its "little green men" took it over in a coup.
even going so far as ban them from holding government positions or speaking their own language.
Why do Russians living in Ukraine have to hold government positions? And why they should have the right to ignore laws and only speak their own language?
Imagine had the US passed a law banning African-Americans from holding office, and barring Hispanics from speaking the Spanish language.
African-Americans also dont plan on overthrowing the government or forming armed militias with the help of African dictators. Hispanics are not barred from speaking Spanish, but if they want to hold government positions then they have to speak English. This is a universal rule in every country in the world. It is not repression to demand this.
Still, that conflict would have remained localized, were it not for the Biden Administration's attempts to shoehorn Ukraine into NATO.
Oh so it's Biden's fault that Putin invaded Ukraine? Anyone who understands a thing about NATO realizes pretty quickly that Ukraine would have not been in NATO regardless - due to not controlling 100% of it's territory. Ironically Putin himself has pushed Ukraine far more towards west than Ukraine itself ever did. Also Russia now has a much longer land border with NATO due to Finland (and Sweden) joining NATO.
And Russia's demands -- before the war, as well as during the failed peace talks aftter the war began -- were that Ukraine remain neutral, and not host NATO bases and forces next to the Russian border.
Who is Russia to dictate foreign policy to it's neighbors? None of their business.

Is this the classic "dont help Ukraine because they're corrupt" argument again?
News flash - corruption exists in every country. Russia itself is far more corrupt than Ukraine ever was and while Ukraine is at least improving then Russia is not doing anything to fight it's corruption.

Your post is typical Russian bot talking points that have been exposed as lies countless times before. Anyone with ten minutes of searching from unbiased sources can pretty quickly see trough these lies but for some reason bots keep parroting the same worn out bs that no longer works.
