Indian benchmark equity indices managed to recover from most of their early losses and ended slightly lower in a volatile session on Monday. This decline occurred despite new concerns raised by a Hindenburg report alleging misconduct by SEBI chief Madhabi Puri Buch.
The BSE Sensex dropped 57 points, or 0.07%, to close at 79,648.9. Similarly, the NSE Nifty fell 20.5 points, or 0.08%, ending the day at 24,347.
