Union Minister of State for Cooperation Murlidhar Mohol met the officials of various cooperative societies in Pune on Monday and interacted with the members of PACS, which is the backbone of rural credit and support systems.

During the meeting, the work of the office bearers of the PACS was meticulously reviewed, and discussions were held regarding the ongoing computerization of these societies. The Minister actively listened to the grievances of the members, assuring them that their concerns would be resolved sooner rather than later.

Shortly after the visit, Mohol took to Twitter to share details of the interaction. “It’s a matter of happiness that through the central government’s scheme, these PACS are able to strengthen themselves technologically,” he tweeted.

On this occasion, instructions were also given to the appropriate authorities for the quick resolution of problems related to these PACS.
