Friday, Aug. 9: Beer release party!

Saturday, Aug. 10: Scavenger hunt!
Watson Adventures’ Secrets of Central Park Scavenger Hunt for Families: Join Watson Adventures on a unique family scavenger hunt in Central Park! Kids and adults work together to explore the park below 72nd Street. The game is played on smartphones using our browser-based app. Kids must be accompanied by an adult. Central Park, East Meadow (entrance on 5th Ave. and 97th Street, NW corner). 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. $17.50-$21.50.
Summer Family Discovery Weekends: Learn and play together in the Discovery Garden. Hands-on stations throughout the garden’s courtyard, meadow, woodland, and marsh habitats encourage families to explore nature alongside volunteer educators. Be sure to check out Discover Pollinators, too! Sunday, Aug. 11: Shop local!
FAD Market: Summer Pop-up: This summer, FAD Market will continue its monthly pop-up at Dumbo’s Empire Stores. Explore the creations of over 30 talented makers, artisans, and small businesses who reside and craft in New York City and beyond. Empire Stores, 55 Water Street, Brooklyn. 11 a.m. – 6 p.m. Free entry.
East Harlem Giglio Feast: The Giglio Society of East Harlem will host the 2024 East Harlem Giglio Feast celebrating their 115th anniversary. This annual Italian festival features live music, entertainment, great food, rides and games, vendors, and more! 114th-116th St. along Pleasent Ave., Manhattan. 12 – 11 p.m. Free admission.
