Already own the whole collection on Steam, so I don't need it. Priced it on parity with the last lowest price on Steam, but this is the better version!

Should be since its a digital product and only free if u have prime sub.
The question is if the game is worth 220 if compared to steam sale price.

only free if u have Prime sub.
Prime is not cheap! :D
The question is if the game is worth 220 if compared to steam sale price.
The last lowest price was ₹224 during the Summer Sale, according to SteamDB. The historical low is ₹74, but that was before Steam's pricing revision, and it most likely won't go that low again

Then you should know that games go cheaper than steam price normally between 75-85 percent.

And that's what I discounted it to as well? ₹220 is around 85.3% lesser than the games current full price of ₹1,499, and ₹4 lesser than Steam's last lowest price. What is your point?

If a game goes for 100rs in steam, people normally pay between 75_85rs for it.
Because steam money < real money.

I still don't understand if you're trying to make a point. If anyone else can explain what he's trying to say I'd be grateful

Because steam money < real money
:tearsofjoy: I'm sorry, what?

At the very least the thread must mention you got this for free. Personally I think this attempt to sell a freebie is below TE standards. A good approach would have been to give it away to someone without prime.

So, this game goes on sale for 224inr on sale, this means its value is somewhere between 168(75% of 224inr) and 190(85 %of 224)

Why would i buy a game from you for 100 inr if i can buy it for the same price directly from steam.
Thats the gist of it.

As for the epic version of an old game thats been given away for free ,GLWS.

Edited the title to mention the source. But I strongly disagree with the "free" part. I paid for a service, and this was one of the benefits of that service that is of no use to me. As for giving away, that's a separate (and quite subjective) discussion entirely. All I will say on that is that something that is good for one is not good for another.

How did you calculate this value? How do you decide what the "true" value of a digital game is?

Why would i buy a game from you for 100 inr if i can buy it for the same price directly from steam.
Thats the gist of it.
Because

A. It's not on sale on Steam currently, if someone just wants to buy the game now without wanting to wait for a sale, this will interest them.
B. This is not even the Steam version. This is the GOG key, and it retails for $30 on GOG. If someone wants the DRM-free version, for whatever reason, this will interest them.

As for the epic version of an old game thats been given away for free ,GLWS.
Again, can you say for sure that Epic WILL give this game away again in the future?
