What's New for 2025: Mitsubishi

August 7, 2024

Mitsubishi leans into its small but robust lineup of crossover SUVs for the 2025 model year. Conspicuously absent from its 2025 lineup released Tuesday is the Mitsubishi Mirage budget car.

One of the last few new cars with a starting price under $20,000 won't be offered for 2025, with Mitsubishi allowing the remaining inventory to run out without a replacement. That counters rumors last year that it would still be made through 2025. It can still be configured for 2024, with the Mirage hatchback costing $17,840, including a $1,145 destination fee. (All prices listed include that destination fee.) The 2024 Mirage G4 sedan costs $18,940.

With the end of the Mirage comes the end of the new car under $20,000, because the Kia Rio and Nissan Versa have also been discontinued.

The brand's 5-year/60,000-mile warranty carries over, with two years or up to 30,000 miles of scheduled maintenance. That excellent warranty is supplemented by Safeguard, a 5-year subscription of roadside assistance and other emergency services.

Mitsubishi instead will rely on its three remaining crossovers to appeal to budget-minded shoppers. Here's what's changed with each remaining model. We'll update pricing when it's released later this year.
