During his visit to New Delhi, Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh aimed to boost bilateral trade with India to $20 billion, up from $14.7 billion in 2022-23.
Both countries, major garment exporters, currently rely heavily on Chinese fabric and yarn imports.
However, they have potential to diversify by increasing trade with each other.
