In a dazzling evening reminiscent of the Filmfare Awards, Maharashtra’s credit cooperatives were honored at an event held at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The ceremony celebrated the exceptional contributions of various credit cooperatives across different categories, recognizing their achievements and innovations within the cooperative sector.
Awardees were welcomed to the stage in a grand, cinematic fashion, complete with dramatic music, lighting, and special effects. Approximately 75 credit cooperatives from Maharashtra were felicitated during the event for their outstanding performance.
Among the notable recipients were Mumbai-based leading credit cooperatives such as Shree Kulswami Credit Cooperative Society, Shivkrupa Credit Cooperative Society, Parijat Credit Cooperative Society, and others.
In the category for cooperatives with deposits exceeding 100 crores, the honored societies included Janhit
Nagari Sahakari Patsanstha, Vasantrao Naik Nagari Sahakari Patsanstha, Sharadchandra Nagari Sahakari Patsanstha, Pune’s Samta Nagari Sahakari Patsanstha, Janseva Urban Cooperative Credit Society, Shivpratap Nagari Cooperative Credit Society, and others.
Additionally, several women-led cooperatives were recognized for their contributions. Nashik-based Kalyani Mahila Nagari Sahakari Patsanstha, Ambika Nagari Sahakari Patsanstha, and Adarsha Mahila Nagari Sahakari Patsanstha were honored with mementos and certificates of appreciation.
