Acer Warranty Claim Query

Hi all,

So my Acer X272U KV decided to take a shit on me today. The monitor was working fine in the morning. I turned it off in the afternoon. When I turned it back on this evening, it started turning on and off, continuously (like it's flickering). The interval between switching on and off is about a second. To turn the monitor off completely (besides unplugging it), I have to time it right, and press the power button during the 'on' interval, and it switches off. When I try switching it back on, the same thing happens. The power light and monitor go on and off, together. This issue has nothing to do with the PC/GPU (it's turned off).

Troubleshooting steps taken:

  1. Changing power cables
  2. Changing the power outlet
  3. Disconnecting from the PC entirely
  4. Powering off, pressing the power button for 30 seconds for a hopeful reset
The monitor is under warranty (bought last year in May from Amazon). I live in Kolkata.

Any help in how I may approach for a warranty claim would be appreciated. Do I need to take it to a city-based service center? Or would Acer arrange for a pick-up? Any leads on a city-based service center (for those residing in Kolkata) would be appreciated.

For now I'm using a VU 50" TV to work, and it's not fun.
