A type 1 diabetic herself – Kiara was diagnosed with diabetes when only 2 years old – she has also been instrumental in breaking down the stigma and numerous myths that surround diabetes.
India has recently been named as the global diabetes capital, Kiara’s voice is instrumental in addressing any knowledge gaps, making reliable nutritional information more and, most importantly, normalising the use of insulin as life-saving medication to combat diabetes.
