4,532 PACS of Tamil Nadu being spruced up: Shah

Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah shared the data related to funds released to the state of Tamil Nadu under the centrally sponsored schemes.

The computerization of PACS is under implementation since FY 2022-23 under which, a total of 4,532 PACS have been sanctioned from the State of Tamil Nadu and Rs 45.68 crore has been released to the State for procurement of hardware, digitization and setting up of support systems.

The computerization of ARDBs project is under implementation since FY 2023-24 under which 216 ARDB units have been sanctioned from the State of Tamil Nadu and Rs 81.92 lakh have been released to the State for procurement of hardware, digitization and setting up of support systems.

The project related to computerization of RCS offices is under implementation since FY 2023-24 under which, proposal from Tamil Nadu has been received in this Ministry and funds of total of Rs 170.3 lakh have been earmarked to the State in FY 2024-25, subject to fulfillment of the scheme guidelines, Shah informed in Lok Sabha.
