LG Electronics announced the winners of the first regional round of its All-India KPOP Contest 2024, held in Bengaluru. The winners were selected from the online auditions conducted in the Bengaluru region, in collaboration with the Korean Cultural Centre India (KCC).
The winners of the Bengaluru regionals Avanti Hedge and Nyx, Bengaluru, captivated the judges and audience with a performance that combined vocal skills, energetic dance moves, and a deep connection to the KPOP genre.

LG Electronics India has organized its 3rd edition of ‘All India K-POP Contest 2024’ in collaboration with Korean Cultural Centre India, which aims to discover true fans of Korean pop culture from across the country. The online registration round for the contest saw a response, with 10,500 registrations completed. This marks the beginning of a journey for KPOP enthusiasts across the nation.
The regional preliminaries will be held in 11 regions of India from July 27 to September 1 with the first regional preliminary round held in Bengaluru. Winners from these regional rounds will advance to the semifinals, which will be held in Delhi.
The highlight of the Bengaluru event was the performance by Park Min-jun, popularly known as Aoora, a KPOP sensation and Bigg Boss 17 contestant. Aoora’s stage presence and talent left the audience mesmerized and added to the excitement of the contest.
