Chris Klug Foundation hosts Wine and Dine Gala fundraiser

The Chris Klug Foundation will host its Wine and Dine Gala Friday, Aug. 2 to raise funds for the foundation.

It will also celebrate the 2024 Chris Klug Foundation award winners. Mark and Lynn Scotch, Denise Redeker, and Abby Gray are the 2024 award recipients for their support in educating about the importance of becoming an organ donor. 

Mark and Lynn became living kidney donors and Mark became a living liver donor. They also began biking nationwide to raise awareness about the needs for organ donors. Redeker is a heart transplant recipient who started her own foundation to help transplant recipients and their families find housing near their transplant centers. Gray is a caregiver who was inspired to start a blog after her husband Reid was diagnosed with primary sclerosing cholangitis, a chronic liver disease. Gray wrote a children’s book about her husband’s donor, Clayton Sparks, who died after a skiing accident.

The gala will be hosted at Three Peaks Bar and Grill at the Snowmass Club. It will feature a three-course meal and wine from Schramsberg Winery. 

Individual tickets for the Wine and Dine Gala are $350 and a table of eight is $3,000. Tickets are available for purchase online.
