Wynn has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with HKU Business School, marking a significant step in enhancing educational exchanges and academic collaborations throughout the Greater Bay Area. This partnership aims to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, fostering an environment where innovation can flourish by combining Macao’s international appeal with Hong Kong’s academic excellence. Wynn is dedicated to promoting the concept of “Tourism + Education” and plans to develop educational tour programs under the “Wynn Education Tour” initiative, aligning with the Macao SAR Government’s goals for sustainable educational tourism. The MOU is designed to facilitate exchanges between Macao and Hong Kong, empowering future leaders through cross-cultural learning and intellectual engagement.
The MOU was signed by Ms. Linda Chen, President, Vice Chairman, and Executive Director of Wynn Macau, Limited, and Professor Hongbin Cai, Dean of HKU Business School. The ceremony was attended by other notable figures, including Dr. Barry Ip, Vice President of Learning & Advancement at Wynn Macau and Wynn Palace, and Mr. Adrian Chan, Executive Director of Executive Education at HKU Business School.
This agreement marks the beginning of a new era of collaboration, focusing on student and faculty exchanges to enrich academic experiences and promote cultural understanding. The partnership will facilitate the organization of international conferences and symposia in Macao, bringing together leading scholars, researchers, and students from around the world to share ideas, forge new connections, and advance educational excellence.
The “Wynn Education Tour” initiative with HKU Business School aims to train future hospitality industry professionals, supporting Macao’s transformation into the “World Center of Tourism and Leisure.” This partnership will contribute to the region’s economic diversification and establish a new benchmark for educational collaborations.
