With just a month to go until the Minnesota State Fair kicks off, organizers are making significant enhancements to transportation options to ensure easier access for visitors. In an effort to accommodate the influx of attendees, the fair is introducing designated spots for RideShare app drop-offs and pickups. Additionally, there’s an expansion in both Park and Ride facilities and bus services, aiming to streamline the travel experience for all fair-goers.

In preparation for the grand event, auditions for fair talent began on Monday night, seeking a diverse array of performers. Aspiring dancers, singers, comedians, acrobats, and jugglers are among those encouraged to showcase their skills. From these auditions, 120 acts will be selected to compete in the semi-finals, with the best advancing to perform on the prestigious Grandstand stage on September 1st, promising an exciting lineup of entertainment at this year’s fair.
