Well, tbh, macOS users might be the ones crying cause they can’t get an early exit from work.
 
Someone is going to get fired at CrowdStrike for sure. Probably entire team. The damage that this does is massive. Their stock price is going to fall for sure.

I was just wondering the same...how can the company survive such a screw-up....if they do or dont is upto MS but who the **** pays for all the wasted hours, cancelled flights, and god knows what else
 
I had deployed Crowdstrike agent on 5000+ servers in my earlier project approx. 2 yrs ago never knew that one wrong patch and the crowd will come to a strike!
 
Do these updates get pushed without testing? Come on microsoft you are a multi-trillion dollar company

It is due to the enabling of windows updates users are getting bsods both at home and corporate. It has nothing to do with crowdstrike in the first place.
 
There is an active P1 incident rAised at company wide and most of the incident manager along with IT leads are working as 24x7.
 
I received an update today from Windows under System Update sitting here. So while I can bypass it by shutting down laptop without installing it, how long can we bypass it?
I mean, I don't know if on Monday, I'll be in office or running to GIT.
