We are a few months away from the official beta release of One UI 7.0, which is based on Android 15. Very little is known about Samsung's next big version of One UI. A new leak claims that One UI 7.0 heavily borrows from Apple's iOS 18 and even Xiaomi's HyperOS.

One UI 7.0 rumored to have new iconography and iOS 18-like Quick Panel

Earlier, it was reported that One UI 7.0 will bring two new features: App Lock and vertical app drawer. Now, a rumor from @chunvn8888 claims that a lot of UI design elements in One UI 7.0 are inspired by iOS 18 and Xiaomi's HyperOS. The next big version of One UI reportedly has more rounded icons with a 3D look similar to macOS and visionOS.

The Quick Panel on One UI 7.0 apparently looks highly similar to the one on iOS 18. The icons in the Quick Panel are circular and can be rearranged. According to the report, the new app icon for the stock Gallery app now has a white background and a rainbow-colored flower, similar to iOS. Lock screen widgets have also been redesigned, featuring more rounded shapes.

Samsung has reportedly changed the notifications panel to a two-page design. The one on the right displays notifications, while the one on the right has quick setting toggles. Similar to HyperOS, though, you can quickly switch between the notifications page and the quick setting toggles page by swiping left and right.

According to the report, the stock Camera app's UI design has also received a massive overhaul. The app now has quick camera settings at the top (when the phone is held in portrait orientation) and has moved them to the bottom (next to the camera modes). There will be one shortcut to expand and view quick setting options.
