July 2024 security update is now live for Galaxy A14 5G

Samsung started rolling out the July 2024 security patch almost ten days ago. So far, the company has released the latest security update to high-end and mid-range smartphones. Now, the brand is extending it to entry-level devices.Summarize in one-click with Galaxy AI

Samsung has started rolling out the July 2024 security patch to the variant of the Galaxy A14 5G that it sells in some of the Asian and Middle Eastern countries, including Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Morocco, Philippines, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Thailand, Tunisia, Taiwan, UAE, and Vietnam. It carries model number SM-A146P.

The software update changes the firmware version of the Galaxy A14 5G to A146PXXS8DXG1 and offers fixes for 58 security issues. To get it on your device, navigate to Settings » Software update » Download and install. Alternatively, you can download the new firmware from our database and install it manually using Odin.
