Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times of India) has announced key leadership changes, with Partha Sinha stepping up to the position of President and Chief Brand Officer (CBO). Meanwhile, Surinder Chawla has joined The Times of India as President – Response.
Formerly President – Response at Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd., Partha contributed significantly to the success of the function. Under his guidance, the team surged ahead with resilience, confidence, and success in achieving ambitious revenue targets year on year. His strategic vision, creative mindset, and relentless drive have been instrumental in this success.
As CBO, Partha will spearhead all the Brand verticals (TOI, ET, TIMS and Languages) and focus on elevating Brand salience, Audience engagement, and innovative Product launches in untapped markets and target segments.
Chawla has joined Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd. (The Times of India) as President – Response. A B.Com. graduate from Shriram College of Commerce and a qualified Chartered Accountant holding a prestigious all India merit rank of 16. He is an accomplished business leader with over 29 years of experience in retail banking.
He brings with him strong sales process and governance capability in managing retail distribution networks, driving product development, and fostering strong customer relationships.
In his last role as MD and CEO of Paytm Payments Bank leading a team of 2500 members, Surinder was responsible for offering easy and innovative banking solutions to customers while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and risk management.
Prior to his tenure at Paytm, he held significant leadership positions at organizations like RBL Bank, HDFC Bank, ABN Amro Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, and Citibank.
