The US exports of textiles and apparel fell by 2.59 per cent to $9.650 billion in the first five months of 2024 compared to the same period in 2023.
Shipments to Mexico and China increased, while exports to other major markets like Canada and the UK declined.
Apparel, fabric, and yarn exports decreased, but shipments of made-up articles rose.
