Reading Time: < 1 minuteOODA Architecture said that the name ‘Bound’ seizes
the spirit of association and harmony. It signifies the
interweaving of two edifices, creating the outline of two
bodies coming together in a plié, adding a vibrant
component to the metropolitan setting. It generates a
consistent union that is both useful and emblematic.
The intricate designs of the façade represent Albania’s
gorgeous textile tradition, incorporating historic styles
with present-day architecture. Bound displays a
concern for invention and functionality. Beyond only a
structure, it is a dance of connection and
synchronization, a doorway to new urban
understandings, developing as a living structure that
represents association, cultural tradition and urban
renovation.
Situated at the connection of Dritan Hoxha Avenue, in
the western zone of Tirana, an expansion zone, this
50-floor tower is intended to become an icon of the
growth and innovation of the capital of Albania. The
building bonds housing, commercial, office and hotel
space, exhibiting the city’s lively urban existence.
Facades have the command to signify, alter and reveal
the history and ethos of a society. Bound presents a
new advancement to Tirana, representing growth and
urban makeover. The parametric construction of the
edifice reveals the traditional designs of Albanian rugs,
generating an exclusive texture on the facade.
Similar to a dancer intertwining accuracy into each
movement, this edifice mingles history and values into
a tapestry that reveals the city’s growing
distinctiveness.
