A pair of aspiring teachers are recipients of the Barbara Zimmerman scholarship at Capital Region BOCES. Skyllar Fleming and Mataiah Lindsey were recognized during the first-ever Career and Technical Education Center Awards and Scholarship celebration. Fleming will attend Gardner-Webb University in Boiling Springs, N.C. this fall and Lindsey will attend SUNY Cobleskill. Both graduates are pursuing an early childhood education degree.
