Payson promoted to CFO, treasurer

GREENFIELD — Jeremy Payson has been promoted to chief financial officer and treasurer of Greenfield Cooperative Bank. Payson will succeed Michael Turley, who recently retired after a long tenure with the bank.

Payson brings a decade of experience in the financial services industry. He most recently served as Greenfield Cooperative Bank’s executive vice president – controller.

“We are thrilled to announce Jeremy’s promotion to CFO,” Tony Worden, president and CEO at Greenfield Cooperative Bank, said in a statement. “He brings a wealth of experience and a deep understanding of our company to this important role. His proven leadership and strategic vision will be instrumental as we continue to grow and serve our customers.”

Payson holds a master’s degree from Western New England University and recently graduated from the Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
