New Delhi: Controversial IAS officer Pooja Khedkar has been in the spotlight after she seeked special privileges from the District Collector’s office which were actually not allowed for a trainee officer. After receiving complaints of misconduct the Maharashtra Government has transferred her from Pune to Washim. She will now serve her duties as Asistant Collector of Washim. According to sources, the 2023 batch IAS officer will be serving will be serving her remaining probation period in the Washim district till further instructions.

Who is Pooja Khedkar?
Pooja Khedkar is an 2022 batch IAS officer of the Maharashtra government. She has scored All India Rank of 841 rank in the UPSC exams. She started buzzing in the social media after she flaunted her audi with a red blue beacon light with a VIP number plate.
According to media reports, she also demanded of the privileges which are entitled to the trainee IAS Officers. Pooja Khedkar demanded of a separate cabin, car, separate flat and a peon before resuming her duties.

However she was denied for all these privileges. The trainee IAS officer is also accused of taking off the name plate of a Senior Officer when he gave her the permission to use his chamber as her office.
Pooja Khedkar also made fake disability and OBC certificates to clear her UPSC exams. According to reports, she also submitted a mental illness report. The Trainee IAS officer was also asked to appear in AIIMS to get the verification of her disability certificate but She refused citing Covid virus infection.
Her unfair demands didn’t stop here. She also demanded separate letter head with her name, visiting card and a separate intercom connection for her personal use.
Some sources also say that she made these unfair demands as her father is a retired administrative officer and she took advantage of his name.
