This new offering enhances the airline’s renowned hospitality for business class travelers, featuring Saudi coffee and dates served in specially crafted, regionally inspired cups.
Designed in five unique styles, each cup represents a distinct region of Saudi Arabia. The central region cup features motifs of clay buildings and palm trees, reflecting its traditional landscapes. In contrast, the western region cup showcases the Taifi rose, along with coastal elements like seashells and corals, capturing the essence of its picturesque coastline.
Guests can savor the eastern region’s cup adorned with Calligonum Al Arta, symbolizing its diverse flora. The cup representing the north depicts olive trees, celebrating the region’s natural beauty. Meanwhile, the southern region cup displays intricate Assiri patterns, honoring its rich cultural heritage.
Initially introduced on select routes starting July 7, 2024, these cups will gradually become available across all Saudia flights. This initiative highlights Saudia’s commitment to enriching the travel experience by embracing Saudi Arabia’s national identity and cultural diversity. It further reinforces Saudia’s collaboration with the Ministry of Culture through strategic sponsorships of major events, emphasizing its dedication to promoting local traditions and values.
