LOT Polish air Boosts Poland’s Travel Industry with New international Routes to India Connecting Warsaw to Delhi and Mumbai

LOT Polish Airlines is expanding its reach by introducing a new route to Lyon, enhancing its global network. This addition offers unique travel opportunities for Indian tourists to explore less-trodden European destinations.

Joining the Star Alliance network, LOT Polish Airlines will establish a link between its central hub in Warsaw and Lyon, providing services six times a week starting from September 30, 2024. Flights will depart from Warsaw Chopin Airport at 8:10 am on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, arriving in Lyon at 10:30 am local time. On Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, flights will leave Warsaw at 4:00 pm, reaching Lyon at 6:20 pm local time. These afternoon departures are ideally timed for passengers from Delhi or Mumbai, allowing them to connect smoothly in Warsaw with minimal layover.

For travelers from India to Lyon with LOT Polish Airlines during the summer of 2024, here are the details:

From Delhi (Fridays):

• Departure: 8:00 am on LO-72, arriving in Lyon at 6:20 pm local time.
• Total travel time is 13 hours and 50 minutes, including a 3-hour and 10-minute layover in Warsaw.

From Mumbai (Wednesdays and Sundays):

• Departure: 7:10 am on LO-76, arriving in Lyon at 6:20 pm local time.
• Total travel time is 14 hours and 40 minutes, including a 3-hour and 45-minute layover in Warsaw.
