Starting This Winter, Direct Flights From San Francisco International Airport To Liberia By Alaska Airlines

Alaska Airlines launches a seasonal direct route from San Francisco to Liberia, Costa Rica starting Dec 21, 2024, flying weekly using Boeing 737s.

Today, Alaska Airlines unveiled its plans to initiate a seasonal direct flight service from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to Daniel Oduber Quirós International Airport in Liberia, Costa Rica. Starting December 21, 2024, the airline will operate a weekly flight during the winter months, utilizing Boeing 737 planes for the route.

“We are very excited to welcome nonstop Alaska Airlines flights from SFO to Costa Rica this December,” said Airport Director Ivar C. Satero. “With this new service, Alaska is giving Bay Area travelers seamless access to a fantastic new warm-weather destination. We thank Alaska for their continued commitment to SFO and are confident this seasonal service will be a great success.”

Alaska Airlines strengthens its status as the premier U.S. carrier connecting the West Coast to Latin America with its new direct route from San Francisco International Airport (SFO) to Liberia. Effective June 19th, 2024, the airline has also consolidated all of its SFO operations into Harvey Milk Terminal 1.
