After becoming the top show in 2023, Suits is back in the top 10 with the arrival of its ninth and final season. Expect Suits to rise from No. 5 to the top in the coming weeks. The series that comes in at No. 1 is The Man with 1000 Kids, a documentary about a serial sperm donor. The other new addition to the top 10 is Sprint, a docuseries about the world’s top sprinters as they prepare for the 2024 Paris Olympics. 10. That '90s Show part 2 (2023)
Load the station wagon and head to Wisconsin in That ’90s Show, which returns for part 2. That ’90s Show, the spinoff to That 70s Show, follows Leia Forman (Callie Haverda), the teenage daughter of Eric Forman (Topher Grace) and Donna Pinciotti (Laura Prepon). Leia, who lives in Chicago, travels to Point Place, Wisconsin, to spend her summer with Eric’s parents, Kitty (Debra Jo Rupp) and Red (Kurtwood Smith).
Part 2 begins in the summer of 1996, with Leia returning to her grandparents’ house. However, she’s nervous to see her boyfriend, Jay Kelso (Mace Coronel), after almost kissing Nate (Maxwell Acee Donovan), who dates Nikki (Sam Morelos). Will the love triangle ruin Leia’s summer?
9. Your Honor season 2 (2020)
After the shocking end to Your Honor season 1, disgraced judge Michael Desiato (Bryan Cranston) finds himself in prison to start season 2. Olivia Delmont, an assistant U.S. attorney, wants to eliminate the Baxter crime family and rid New Orleans of their influence. To do that, Olivia gets Michael released from prison and coerces him to help take out Jimmy Baxter (Michael Stuhlbarg) and his drug empire.
Meanwhile, the Desire Gang, one of the local cartels, is looking to make its move on the Baxters and become the dominant supplier of drugs in the area. As Michael works undercover for Olivia, he spirals into the criminal underworld, a dangerous path that may not have a happy ending.
8. America's Sweethearts: Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders season 1 (2024)
If you thought making the NFL was hard, try earning a spot as one of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders. Go behind the scenes of the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders during 2023–2024 in America’s Sweethearts. The Cowboys’ cheerleaders are the most famous cheer squad in the NFL, with their inception dating back to 1961.
The all-access documentary chronicles the entire season for a cheerleader, from auditions and training camps to practice and games. Like Cheer and Last Chance U, America’s Sweethearts also focuses on life off the field. This high-pressure job can take a toll on someone’s mental health, so the series does an excellent job of exploring life for these dancers off the field.
7. Sprint season 1 (2024)
The fastest sprinters in the world star in Sprint, the latest Netflix docuseries in the same vein as Formula 1: Drive to Survive and Break Point. What does it take to become the fastest person in the world? Winning and losing is decided in a matter of seconds. Sprint follows some of the world’s best sprinters from the 2023 World Championships to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
The seven athletes featured in Sprint include Noah Lyles (USA), Sha’Carri Richardson (USA), Shericka Jackson (Jamaica), Zharnel Hughes (England), Lamont Marcell Jacobs (Italy), Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce (Jamaica), and Elaine Thompson (Jamaica). With the Olympics a few weeks away, Sprint is a good way to familiarize yourself with the sprinters competing in Paris.
6. Your Honor season 1 (2020)
After visiting his mother’s grave, Adam Desiato (Hunter Doohan) gets into a hit-and-run accident, resulting in the death of another teenager. Shocked by what happened, Adam drives home and tries to destroy any evidence of the crime. Adam is the son of Michael Desiato (Bryan Cranston), a New Orleans judge with an admirable reputation. Adam confesses to Michael, who encourages his son to turn himself in.
However, things change when Adam reveals the teenager he killed is the son of Jimmy Baxter (Michael Stuhlbarg), a drug kingpin. Jimmy will kill Adam if he finds out, so Michael decides to use his power to cover up the crime. Michael’s ensuing decisions force him to go against the laws he swore to uphold.
5. Suits season 9 (2011)
To say Suits became a global sensation in 2023 would be an understatement. Despite going off the air in 2019, Suits’ popularity exploded last year, becoming the most streamed series of the year with 57.7 billion minutes. Until this month, only the first eight seasons were available on Netflix. As of July 1, Suits season 9 is now streaming.
The ninth and final season follows the firm Zane Specter Litt Wheeler Williams. Harvey (Gabriel Macht) must deal with the aftermath of Robert Zane’s (Wendell Pierce) sacrifice with the Bar Association. Because of that, the firm is not well-regarded in the public eye. Helping Harvey rebuild the firm’s reputation are Louis Litt (Rick Hoffman), Alex Williams (Dulé Hill), Katrina Bennett (Amanda Schull), and Samantha Wheeler (Katherine Heigl). While his professional life suffers, Harvey realizes he wants a future with Donna (Sarah Rafferty).
4. Owning Manhattan season 1 (2024)
Ryan Serhant is a real estate mogul and the CEO of SERHANT. Go behind the scenes of Serhant and his team of agents in Owning Manhattan. Serhant focuses on luxury New York City real estate. This isn’t a show about renting an apartment for a few thousand dollars. Serhant’s agents must carry an annual rolling gross commission income of $500,000.
The listings are located in some of the city’s most exclusive buildings. With expensive buildings come high expectations, and the pressure is on to deliver and become the best brokerage in the city. The series examines how one team will “stop at nothing to become the best in the world.”
3. Supacell season 1 (2024)
Netflix has launched its superhero franchise with Supacell. In South London, five ordinary people learn that they have superpowers. These people include Michael (Tosin Cole), Sabrina (Nadine Mills), Andre (Eric Kofi Abrefa), Rodney (Calvin Demba), and Tazer (Josh Tedeku). The only link between them is that they are Black.
Michael can travel through time and learns that his fiancé, Dionne Ofori (Adelayo Adedayo), will die. To save her from dying, Michael must work with the four other superhumans. With superheroes come supervillains, as a group of powerful agents from a secret organization want to control their powers.
2. Worst Roommate Ever season 2 (2022)
From producer Jason Blum comes the true crime series, Worst Roommate Ever. These horror stories are based on real crimes committed by sinister individuals. Season 2 features four new criminals: Janie Ridd, Michael Dudley, Scott Pettigrew, and Tammy Fritz. Some of the crimes depicted in the series are unfathomable.
For example, a woman helps co-parent her roommate’s young son, but it leads to a mysterious illness and a custody battle for the child. Another scenario involves a landlord who may or may not have killed two victims and dismembered their bodies. If you love true crime, Worst Roomate Ever will be right up your alley.
1. The Man with 1000 Kids (2024)
In The Man with 1000 Kids, Jonathan Meijer appears to be a normal Dutch man who decides to donate sperm. With favorable genes and handsome looks, Meijer is everything a potential parent would want in a donor. Meijer lets families know that he only planned to donate sperm a few times. However, that was a lie. The Man with 1000 Kids examines Meijer’s lie, with one parent discovering their child has an alarming number of half-siblings in the town.
Though the final count is up for dispute, Meijer donated sperm in multiple countries, including 11 sperm banks in the Netherlands. The number of children conceived with Meijer’s sperm ranges from 600 to 3,000. The eye-opening three-part series depicts how Meijer got away with these lies and the parents who brought him to justice.
