Aspen hosts virtual town hall to discuss nondiscrimination ordinance

The City of Aspen will host two virtual town halls for community members to learn more about the nondiscrimination ordinance the city is updating.
The city’s nondiscrimination ordinance was first implemented in 1977. The city is working to modernize it with revisions that expand protected classes and address inclusivity. The current and proposed ordinances can be viewed at aspencommunityvoice.com.
The meetings will be held Friday, July 12 and Thursday, July 18 from 11 a.m. to noon. The meetings can be accessed via Zoom:
