Share market update: Most active stocks in today's market in terms of volume

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea(numbers of share traded: 50.13 crore), YES Bank(numbers of share traded: 31.42 crore), Rail Vikas Nigam(numbers of share traded: 15.62 crore), Indian Railway Fin(numbers of share traded: 15.25 crore), NHPC(numbers of share traded: 9.89 crore), Hind Const Co(numbers of share traded: 9.61 crore), Indian Renewable(numbers of share traded: 7.22 crore), Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar(numbers of share traded: 6.58 crore), Rama Steel Tubes(numbers of share traded: 6.26 crore) and MRPL(numbers of share traded: 5.53 crore) emerged top gainers in Tuesday's market in terms of trading volume.

The NSE Nifty index closed 112.66 points up at 24433.2, while BSE Sensex ended up 391.26 points at 80351.64.

On the other hand, Tata Consumer Products Ltd.(down 0.75 per cent), Reliance Industries Ltd.(down 0.67 per cent), Shriram Finance Ltd.(down 0.58 per cent), Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(down 0.57 per cent) and Bajaj Finance Ltd.(down 0.43 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
