Stock market update: Stocks that hit 52-week highs on NSE

NEW DELHI: Shares of Harrisons Malayalam, Bombay Burmah, Kellton Tech, Rossell India and Kaushalya Infra, hit their fresh 52-week highs at 10:59AM(IST)on NSE.

Benchmark NSE Nifty index rose 56.3 points to 24376.85 amid buying in frontline bluechip stocks.

However, stocks such as JP Associates, Vraj Iron & Steel, MEP Infrastructure, Zenith Exports and Praxis Home Retail, touched their fresh 52-week low.

Overall, 29 shares traded in the green in Nifty50 index, while 21 traded in the red.

In the Nifty 50 index, Maruti Suzuki, ITC, Titan Company, L&T and Cipla were among top gainers, while ONGC, Dr. Reddys, Apollo Hospital, UltraTech Cem. and Tech Mahindra traded in the red.

The BSE Sensex was trading 248.04 points up at 80208.42 at 10:59AM(IST).

Traders were seen piling up positions in Fertilisers, Irrigation & Allied Services, Petrochemicals, Packaging and Agriculture/Horticulture/Livestock sectors, while selling was visible in Airlines, Gems and Jewellery, Beverages - Alcoholic, ReIT and InvIT sectors.
