The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), known for its Amul brand, launched its first exclusive organic store in Mayur Vihar Phase-III, Delhi. The store was virtually inaugurated by Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah from Gandhinagar on Saturday.
On the occasion, Shah stated, “This store is a one-stop destination where consumers can access a wide range of certified organic products. In the coming days, Amul will add 100 new organic product stores.”
The Union Cooperation Minister also launched Bharat Organic Atta, a product of National Cooperative Organic Limited, and affirmed that both Bharat Organic and Amul are reliable, 100 percent organic brands. Shah emphasized that the Bharat brand stamp is only applied to organic products after they have been tested using the world’s most advanced technology.
The inauguration was attended by GCMMF Chairman Shamalbhai Patel, Vice-Chairman Vamalbhai Humbal, MD Jayen Mehta, and other representatives from Amul.
