Ranveer gave the audition for Maneesh Sharma’s film ‘Band Baaja Baarat’ in 2010 and got selected. The film was a Romantic comedy produced by Yash Raj films. The film did well at the box office and Ranveer received lot of praise for his role. After the success of ‘Band Baaja Baarat’, he signed ‘Ladies Vs Ricky Behl’. This was again a Yash Raj banner film and he was sharing the screen again with Anushka Sharma.
