Eye-Q, a chain of eye care hospitals, has launched a 30-day digital campaign on Instagram, sharing daily eye care tips provided by Eye-Q specialists.
This ongoing campaign aims to reach 70 Lakh individuals in 30 days, offering valuable insights into eye health and preventive care. Conducted in multiple languages to cater to a broad audience, this initiative highlights Eye-Q’s commitment to raising awareness about eye illnesses, treatments, and prevention.

This digital initiative is part of a broader effort to leverage technology and social media for public health education. Eye-Q has a proven track record of advancing eyecare awareness through initiatives, such as door-to-door outreach, free eye check-up camps, and marathons.
These efforts have enhanced the understanding of eye health across communities and regions in India and Nigeria. The organization plans to conduct more such campaigns in the future, aiming to further its mission of promoting eye health.
Dr Ajay Sharma, Founder and CMD of Eye-Q, said, “Social media is a powerful tool to reach a vast audience and educate them about essential eye care practices. Our goal is to make eye care accessible and understandable to everyone, and this campaign is a step in that direction.
“I have full confidence that this campaign alongside our other CSR activities will inspire positive behavioural changes and cultivate a culture of proactive eye care within communities across the nation,” Sharma said.
The ongoing campaign has featured daily tips such as:
- Screen Positioning: Position screens at eye level to avoid eye strain and cervical pain in the neck.
- Screen Settings: Adjust screen settings for optimal eye comfort. Set contrast to 60-70% and adjust brightness based on room lighting. Increase brightness in well-lit areas and decrease it in dim environments. Use dark mode in low light and disable it in bright light. Adjust the word size to 125-150% for better readability.
- 20-20-20 Exercise: Follow the 20-20-20 rule: every 20 minutes, take a 20-second break to focus on something 20 feet away.
