Celebrate Halloween Magic with Gavin James and Kingfishr at Puca Festival

The Púca Festival continues to attract top-tier talent for its renowned event in Ireland’s Ancient East, with the addition of Irish pop singer Gavin James and folk band Kingfishr to the lineup. Developed by Fáilte Ireland in collaboration with Meath County Council, Púca celebrates Ireland as the birthplace of Halloween through an authentic, immersive, and enchanting festival experience. While modern and vibrant in feel, Púca remains deeply rooted in tradition.

Scheduled from Thursday, October 31st to Sunday, November 3rd, 2024, in festival hubs Trim and Athboy, County Meath, Púca will feature a blend of Irish and international artists, seanchaí storytellers, and local community participation, showcasing the best in contemporary Irish music, spectacle, and performance within Ireland’s Ancient East.

Gavin James, known for his emotive songwriting and powerful vocals, gained fame with his debut album “Bitter Pill” in 2015, establishing himself as a significant figure in contemporary music and a highly anticipated headlining act.

Joining him, Irish folk band Kingfishr from Limerick has captivated audiences with their atmospheric melodies and memorable performances, including sold-out tours and high-profile festival appearances in 2023.

Tickets for Gavin James’ and Kingfishr’s performances at the Big Top on October 31st will go on sale Friday, July 12th at 10 am, priced at €45 plus booking fees.

Gavin James and Kingfishr are part of a stellar lineup announced last month, including Bell X1, The High Kings, Dermot Whelan, Panti Bliss, Mary Coughlan, Deirdre O’Kane, Neil Delamere, The Dirt Birds, Davina Devine, Tom Dunne, Fiachna O’Braonáin & Alan Connor, Emma Langford, Ruaile Buaile, Qween, Dublin Gospel Choir, The Classic Beatles, and The Hans Zimmer Experience. More musical, comedy, storytelling, and folklore acts will be announced soon, with events spread across various venues in Trim and Athboy, and tickets currently available for purchase.
