Reading Time: 2 minutesStarting 10 July 2024, Qatar Airways is set to enhance its flight schedule from Sri Lanka to Doha, increasing from five daily flights to six. This expansion reflects the award-winning airline’s commitment to offering greater choice and improved connectivity for passengers traveling to and from Sri Lanka.
Qatar Airways is expanding its service with additional flights on the Boeing 787 aircraft, which includes 30 Business Class seats and 281 Economy Class seats. This enhancement in the network will increase the airline’s weekly flights to and from Sri Lanka to a total of 42, offering connections to nearly 170 destinations around the world.
Jonathan Fernando, Qatar Airways Country Manager Sri Lanka & Maldives, said: “We are thrilled to be increasing our flights to and from Sri Lanka to provide even better connectivity to our passengers. The introduction of new flights will offer passengers additional options for connecting to key locations in the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and beyond, all via Hamad International Airport, named the World’s Best Airport by Skytrax.
